Strawberry Parfait Pie 7 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
1-9 inch pie shell; baked according to package directions
1-3 oz pkg strawberry Jello
1 C hot water
½ C cold water
1 pint vanilla ice cream; cut into 6 chunks
1 C strawberries; washed, hulled & sliced
8 oz Cool Whip; thawed
strawberries, for garnish

Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add cold water; stir. Add ice cream; stir till melted. Chill till mixture mounds slightly when spooned (20-30 minutes).

Gently fold in 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries. Pour into baked cooled 9-inch pastry shell. Chill till firm, 20-25 minutes. Trim with whipped cream and more strawberries.
